By sunset, the midway is all bright bulbs and overlapping music, with rides turning overhead and somebody calling you over to a game you absolutely do not need to play. There is fried food on paper trays, cheap prizes hanging from every booth, and just enough noise to make standing close feel practical.
Stay until your feet hurt. There is always one more thing worth doing before the lights go out.
Tonight, you wake up to a nightmare come true. There is a monster under your bed or a killer behind the door. Hell's open. The demons are here. You're the star of the horror show.
But you aren't alone. Horror has rules, you see. You'd be lucky to slash your way to the end of this story without meeting your foe.
They're the thing in the dark. The shadow waiting with a knife in hand — you're in danger from them, and the stab goes deeper. You're in love with them. Scarier? They feel the same.
Somewhere in the courtship there will be blood. Yours. Theirs. A mix, Valentine's Day red.

It's a question meme about love and relationships (and sex). Self-explanatory, right?
♡ Comment with your character. If your character is underage, not sexually active, or you are simply uninterested in smut or uncomfortable with those questions, feel free to opt out! Respect preferences.
♡ Tag other characters with questions from the list you want them to answer.
♡ Answer your own questions!
♡ That's it.

BAD DAY MEME You’ve just had the day from hell. Your coworker took credit for that project in front of your boss. That dog that mean mugs you every time you walk by finally broke out of jail and chased you down the street. One sock from your favorite pair got lost. They sold out of your favorite sandwich at lunch. A supervillain destroyed the city again. Whatever happened, you. Are. Done! |
![]() THIS COULD BE THE NIGHT You know how this goes. There's a gym full of crepe paper, a song that comes on at the exact right second, and one person who was never supposed to matter this much. Then they smiled at you in the parking lot, and now any ordinary night could turn out to be The Night, the one you'll still be telling people about at thirty. You don't know that yet, obviously. Right now you just know they're here, and something has to happen. HOW TO PLAY 1. Post with your character, canon, and preferences. 2. Tag around with a prompt or roll 1-21. 3. Take the setup wherever it fits. High school not required: college, summer break, small-town adulthood, anywhere the movie logic works. ( PROMPTS ) |
There's never a bad time for a kiss. That said, there may be inconvenient ones, like mid-argument, while hiding, while the blood's still drying, or five seconds before somebody has to leave. Who's holding it against you, though?
Holding their lips against yours, maybe.
Now?
Right now?
→ Comment with your character + preferences.
→ Others send an emoji for when they want the kiss to happen (or vice versa).
→ Give them a starter where the kiss is right and the timing is terrible.

Some people inherit family businesses. On occasion, that inheritance comes in the form of organized crime. Hey...a job's a job.
Whether your character was born into the life, dragged into it kicking and screaming, or just made the mistake of falling for someone with too many expensive suits and more enemies: ciao. This meme's got dramatic glances across smoky restaurants, deals that go sideways, fake engagements that get inconveniently real, bodyguards with no sense of personal space because who needs it, rival families, loyalties you struggle to keep straight, and romance that probably needs a lawyer on retainer.
Play it straight or melodramatic or so full of yearning it could power this murky city's grid. Historical, modern, cobbled together from every crime movie you've watched at two am? Doesn't matter. Thread it out. Do Pacino proud. Slice-of-life with a criminal empire in the background works. For the record, so does a full-on blood feud.

After a blazing hot summer, the weather's turning. The shops have put out their autumn decorations and the first properly cold evening has you out coatless.
It's a great time to fall in love, too. Off the record.
Or keep hating someone's guts. But festively!
There's plenty to do before winter. Festivals to visit, old friends to catch up with, pumpkins to carve, and a whole season's worth of excuses to spend time with somebody.
Until a sudden storm changes your plans. A familiar face shows up at the harvest festival, ruining the atmosphere. That person you've been avoiding? They end up spending the weekend at your place, since you do have a spare room, don't you?. Bust out an old blanket or two.
And then there's Halloween.

The General Texting Meme Sometimes, you just want to text somebody. No reason, no sexy stuff, no special time of the day. You just text that sucker. Sometimes it's even a wrong number! The world is your oyster, if your oyster has unlimited texting. Which, presumably, it does. You know what to do! Leave a top level and text people! Live free! Get weird! |
Please consider using a cut for long posts and sensitive topics.(Quick how to here)

| Most societies have certain mores that are unspoken rules; humanity itself even has such conventions, grilled subconsciously into our minds for our own safety. Don't go out alone at night. Avoid getting wet when it's cold. Don't pick fights with those stronger than you...okay, some of us missed the boat on the last one, but the point still stands. Society's rules tend to be more variable, though they apply to most aspects of life - including sex. In fact, bending the rules on what's considered acceptable in romance and sexual encounters can lead to anything from ostracization to death, depending on the time and culture. So, play it close to the chest if you're going to do a big, big, big t a b o o. Is it worth the risk? How to Play- Comment with your character and preferences. Be sure to include what you want and what you DON'T WANT. Blank comments are fine; info is even better! ( trigger warning ) |
